Reimagine55 Circle ("we," "us," "our") is a journaling and life-legacy app built around six life domains — Body, Mind, Heart & Soul, Mission, Financial, and Family. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect the information you give us directly, and a small amount automatically:
Account information: your name, email address, and password (we never see or store your password in plain text — it's handled securely by our authentication provider).
Journal entries: any text, video, audio, or photo you record within the app, along with which life domain and date it's associated with.
Documents: any legal, financial, medical, or personal-planning information you choose to enter into the Documents section. This is information you control and can edit or remove at any time.
Subscription and billing information: your subscription status, trial and renewal dates. Payment card details are handled entirely by our payment processor, Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
Circle information: if you invite a family member to your Circle, we collect their name, email, and relationship to you so we can send the invitation and manage their read-only access to what you choose to share.
Usage information: basic technical data such as login timestamps and device/browser type, used to keep the app secure and working properly.
How we use your information
To provide the core functionality of the app — storing and displaying your journal entries and documents, tracking your subscription, and enabling the family Circle feature.
To communicate with you — account verification, password resets, billing notices, and (if you opt in) reminder prompts.
To keep the app secure, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your journal or document content for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the app. We share only what's necessary for them to do their job, and none of them are permitted to use your data for their own purposes:
Amazon Web Services (AWS) — hosts our authentication, database, and file storage. Your journal media (video/audio/photo) and documents are stored in access-controlled storage that only your account can read.
Stripe — processes subscription payments.
Netlify — hosts the web version of the app.
We do not share your journal entries, documents, or personal information with any other third party, except: (a) with your Circle members, limited to what you choose to share with them; (b) if required by law; or (c) to protect the rights, safety, or property of Reimagine55 Circle or our users.
Your rights and choices
Access and export: you can download a copy of your data at any time from your Profile.
Correction: you can edit your journal entries, documents, and account details directly in the app.
Deletion: you can permanently delete your account and associated data from Settings at any time. Some information may be retained briefly where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes (for example, payment records held by Stripe).
If you're in the EU/UK or California, you have additional rights under GDPR or CCPA, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights.
Data security
Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Each member's journal entries, documents, and media are isolated so that only your own account can access them — even other authenticated members of the app cannot see your private content unless you've explicitly shared it through the Circle feature.
Children's privacy
Reimagine55 Circle is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you in the app or by email before the changes take effect.
